This lovely and unique Orrefors vase (#D3658-991) is from my mother's cut crystal collection. She was born in 1912, but I don't remember when she acquired this piece.
It was made by Ingeborg Lundin (1921-1992), who worked at Orrefors from 1947 to 1971. Her identifier is "D." On the bottom, it's inscribed "Orrefers D 3658-911."
The vase is rectangular in shape, 6" tall, 6" wide at the top, 5-3/4" wide at the slightly curved bottom, and the opening is just over 2". The glass is 1/4" thick and very clear and shiny. The beautiful cut design on the front sparkles and shines from the front through the back.
There are some very minor fle bite up top and scratches on the bottom, otherwise, it's in perfect.
